Michael Brodie CBE, trustee
The NHS Business Services Authority, headquartered in Newcastle upon Tyne, is the organisation responsible for transforming and delivering high volume, efficient services to support primary care and the NHS workforce, and to help citizens access healthcare. Prior to joining NHSBSA, Michael was Finance and Commercial Director for Public Health England and, before that, held senior leadership roles in the NHS, local government and the police service. Michael is a non-executive member of the oversight board and chair of the audit committee for the National Infrastructure Commission, an Executive Agency of HM Treasury, and is an elected member of Council for the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA). In his spare time Michael is involved with Ashington Cricket Club as a member of its Committee and as an ECB-registered coach.
