About The Henderson Family Fund

The Henderson Family Fund prioritises support for young people in Northumberland  experiencing hardship to enable them to undertake educational opportunities.

What can you apply for

Grants are available for individuals aged 16 – 25 who wish to take up an educational course and face financial barriers to this.

Grants are awarded with the condition that evidence of enrolment/attendance and progress/completion is provided.

Grants of up to £1,000 are available which help remove barriers to study, examples include course fees, rent, travel, or tutor costs

 How to apply

Applications for individuals must be made by voluntary or community organisations, on behalf of the individual.  The applying organisation is wholly responsible for the grant.

We do not accept applications direct from individuals for this fund.

Grants range:  £300 – £1,000
