About The Curtin PARP Fund

The Curtin PARP Fund supports individuals in Tyne and Wear and Northumberland to realise their potential.

 

 

 

Who does the fund support

The fund particularly prioritises support for carers of all ages, women and girls.

Black and Minority Ethnic people including those with asylum seeker/refugee status

Disabled people, homeless people and people who are experiencing disadvantage that prevents them from realising their potential.

What can you apply for

Grants are available for people who wish to study or develop a career in environmental/green jobs (e.g. horticulture, parks and gardens, sustainable energy).

Grants are awarded with the condition that evidence of attendance and progress/completion is provided for each year of study.

One-off grants of £1,000 which help remove barriers to employment e.g. travel costs or work-related equipment.

Grants of up to £7,000 supporting activities that benefit groups of people e.g. for the delivery of training courses particularly which give accreditation.

How to apply

Applications for individuals must be made by voluntary or community organisations, on behalf of the individual and include quotes for items where relevant. The applying organisation is wholly responsible for the grant.
