Mike Whitfield

Project Manager, Operational Effectiveness

Mike leads a transformation project at the Community Foundation to develop and implement changes that will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of systems, processes and ways of working.

An experienced operations and ICT professional with a Business Studies degree and over 20 years’ experience in the service sector, Mike is proficient at managing a diverse range of projects to maximise organisational benefit. Prior to joining the Community Foundation he has worked for a software development company, a leading firm of North East based Chartered Surveyors, a major law firm and an ICT consultancy.

Outside work Mike has held a number voluntary positions and is currently a committee member of the Haydon Hundred Cycling Sportive that raises funds for the local community of Haydon Bridge, Northumberland.
