The Ray Wind Fund CIC Small Grants Programme at the Community Foundation Tyne & Wear and Northumberland is open for applications from community organisations within 10km of the Ray Wind Farm in West Northumberland.
The fund will give out approximately £90,000 in grants each year and will consider capital and revenue funding for projects that are charitable in purpose.
Pete Barrett, Senior Programme Advisor at the Community Foundation said:
“The fund is particularly interested in supporting projects that develop community assets, boost the local economy, improve the local quality of life and look after the environment.
“We welcome applications from organisations within the area of benefit and especially those that address one of these key priorities”.
Applications are welcomed from organisation within a 10km radius of the wind farm, which is on the Ray Estate near Elsdon, in Northumberland.
