Life Science Centre in Newcastle will reopen on 1 August with a new LEGO® Dino Experience. To help people in these difficult times, Life is inviting local community groups to apply for a limited number of free tickets to visit on 24 and 25 August*.
The star of the show in the LEGO® Dino Experience is the new exhibition Brick Dinos, which will transport you to a time millions of years ago, when dinosaurs roamed the planet. Artist Warren Elsmore and his team worked with a palaeontologist to carefully recreate some of the largest beasts to ever walk the Earth in miniature LEGO® brick form.
Life has increased cleaning procedures, introduced a defined one-way route to follow and significantly reduced visitor numbers (only 15 visitors for each time slot). The hands-on nature of much of the centre means its usual spaces and theatres (including the Young Explorers’ Zone) remain closed for now.
If you are the organiser of a local community group and would like to enquire about free tickets for 24-25 August, please email David Jones, Community Liaison Manager at Life, on david.jones@life.org.uk. Free tickets are subject to availability.
All other tickets must be bought in advance from its website: life.org.uk/DinoExperience
*Additional dates might be added later.
