At least one scholarship of £4k will be awarded to an exceptional artist under 30 years old. You must be able to demonstrate a connection to the North East; that you were born or educated here, or that you now live here. You must also be able to demonstrate your commitment to a career in the visual arts. This does not mean that you have to be a graduate, but the best proposals will evidence a commitment to practice, learning and progression

The Edwin Easydorchik Travelling Scholarship is a bursary of £4k. It will be awarded to an exceptional artist under 30 years old who can demonstrate a connection to the North East. They must be able to evidence a commitment to pursuing a career in the Visual Arts. Priority will be given to those under 25 and those born in the North East.
