All applications must demonstrate clear aims, opportunity for progression, and measurable outcomes, showing how the planned activity or items will help the individual to realise their potential.
Grants of up to £7,000 are available for activities that benefit groups of people e.g. for the delivery of training courses of which accredited training is a priority.
Courses which help people develop skills to enhance their employment/career prospects.
One off-grants of between £500 and £1,000 are available to help remove barriers to employment e.g., travel costs or work-related equipment.
Grants are made with the condition that evidence of attendance and progress/completion is provided for each year of study.
Applications for individuals must be made by voluntary or community organisations, on behalf of the individual and include quotes for items where relevant.
The applying organisation is wholly responsible for the grant.
