Apply onlineThe Newcastle Building Society Community Fund supports the work of charitable organisations based in around places it has branches across County Durham, Cumbia, Northumberland, North Yorkshire, Teesside and Tyne & Wear.
In this round your application must address one or more of the following issues:
Food Poverty; Sustainability and Environment; Work and Opportunity; Homelessness; Debt Management.
Applications are via an invitation from the Community Foundation following a nomination from an NBS branch, staff and/or Society member.
Food Poverty – Helping our communities achieve food security.
Sustainability and Environment – Helping our communities reduce their carbon impact through energy conservation; supporting biodiversity and conservation.
Work and Opportunity – Developing regional talent and the opportunity to access decent work for those less advantaged in our communities.
Homelessness – Supporting projects to end housing insecurity and reduce homelessness in our communities
Debt Management – Supporting access to information, guidance and advice for those most in need to build financial capability and sustainability in our communities.
In addition to the Community Foundation’s funding criteria, the Newcastle Building Society Community Fund has the following criteria:
Application must be received by midnight Monday 2nd September 2024.
