About The Northumbrian Water Fund

The Northumbrian Water Fund at the Community Foundation supports projects that address the following:

1)  Water environment – rivers, coasts, wetlands or general water conservation

2)  Poverty – play schemes, food banks, growing household income e.g. employability or help those financially vulnerable (housing or debt support)

3)  Health issues – primarily with children and older people

 

Who can apply?

Organisations are invited to apply for a grant of between £1,000 and £2,000 for this type of project work.

The Fund prefers to support grassroots organisations with priority given to those organisations with an income of less than £100,000 per year.
