The Community Foundation is delighted to unveil GeNErosity, a festival of philanthropy and giving to mark the Foundation’s 30th birthday. The festival is brought to you in partnership with the Centre for Research on Entrepreneurship, Wealth and Philanthropy at Newcastle University.

In November 2018, through a series of activities, debates, performances, GeNErosity – the festival of philanthropy and giving, will:

Celebrate and raise awareness of what philanthropy has achieved in the North East;
Question, debate and inform the future role of philanthropy in the North East;
Encourage more philanthropy in all its forms, by demonstrating the joy of giving and the good it can do.
