The Community Foundation is working in partnership with the Institute of Fundraising North East to bring a Funders Panel to Newcastle this autumn.
Taking place on Thursday 24 October at The Virgin Money Foundation in Newcastle there is a fantastic line up of national and local funders joining us for what is set to be an interesting and insightful day.
First up hear from an expert panel of national and local funders including Virgin Money Foundation, Lloyd's Bank Foundation, and County Durham Community Foundation (more TBC).
After lunch and networking our second session focusses on ‘What makes a successful funding relationship?’ Funder and grantee pairs will talk about securing funding, managing grants, monitoring and the benefits beyond grants. Following that it is your chance to join our round tables to meet the funders who are attending.
10.30am-11am - Registrations and tea and coffee
11am-12pm - Funders panel including Q&A
12pm-12.45pm - Lunch
12.45pm-1.45pm - Funder and Grantee pairs panel
1.45pm-3pm - Round tables opportunity for attendees to ask questions, chat and network
The event is only £8 for IoF members and £12 for non-members with lunch included, providing an opportunity for networking with funders and fellow fundraisers.
