The week, Sandra King, Chief Philanthropy Officer at the Community Foundation has been a guest on Muckle LLP’s Legal Spectrum Podcast series discussing the role of business in the community. With the north east and other parts of the UK tightening measures to stem the spread of COVID-19 following an increase in infections, Sandra and her fellow panel members discussed the question “Can businesses still do CSR during COVID-19?”
Sandra said ““It was great to be asked to join the Muckle podcast and discuss how businesses can still do CSR during Covid-19. At the Community Foundation we’ve seen business really step up during Covid-19 to support charities doing vital work responding to the pandemic. Businesses like Muckle, Accenture and Sail Creative have worked with us and provided much needed advice, training and support to help charities work together in new ways and to support beneficiaries in our local communities”
