Adam Lopardo

Director of External Relations

Adam is responsible for the Foundation’s profile, reputation and reach through our brand, public engagement, strategic partnerships and third-party support.

He leads a team that manages and develops collaborative projects and funding initiatives, alongside PR, publications, events, stakeholder relations and consultancy projects. Adam also works with national and regional funding partners to ensure more resources reach groups in the North East of England.

Adam’s professional background is in marketing, starting in a local theatre in Solihull before he developed his skills further at Ticketmaster in London. He then moved to Manchester to set up Ticketmaster’s regional marketing function, and went on run Ticketmaster’s operation in Scotland before joining the Community Foundation in 2004, initially as Sponsors Club Director working on business partnerships supporting culture and creative talent.

Adam is a trustee of AV Festival and a Director of Tech for Life CIC
