Longstanding supporter of the Community Foundation, Muckle LLP has set up a Grassroots Fund worth over £115,000 that will support community and voluntary groups in Tyne & Wear and will compliment their existing fund which has given away almost £200,000 since it was established in 2002.

Hugh Welch, Senior Partner at Muckle LLP and Chair of the Community Foundation said:

"We were delighted to be able to set up the Muckle Grassroots Fund, the ethos of Grassroots really fits in with our values and our people who are on the committee can't wait to start awarding grants from our new fund. We would encourage any local company to take advantage of the Grassroots match funding while it is still available. "
