Directions
By Foot
From 55 Degrees North roundabout walk south as if walking across Tyne Bridge. Go under the railway bridge, and the main entrance to Cale Cross is immediately on your right. This entrance is on the 6th floor and you take the lift to the 9th floor and turn right.
By Car
From the South, take the A167 across Tyne Bridge and take first slip left at the 55 Degrees North roundabout which has large Metro Radio signs in the buildings in the centre. Take the first exit at the roundabout, signposted A186 City West.
From the North, take the exit from the central motorway, sign-posted A186 Walker, City Centre (South) and take the 3rd exit from the 55 Degrees North roundabout, sign-posted A186 City West.
From other directions, either pick up the central motorway or find your way to the 55 Degrees North roundabout, sign-posted A186 City West.
From the 55 Degrees North roundabout (there are Metro Radio signs onbuilding in the centre), travel west along Mosely Street to the first set of traffic lights, 25 yards. Turn left into Dean Street, signposted B1600 Riverside route, turn left again into the Dean Street car park, about 25 yards. It is a pay and display car park, costing £1 an hour and there are usually spaces available. In the car park, if possible, park on the 6th floor and take the exit on the 6th floor into Pilgrim Street.Turn right and Cale Cross is immediately ahead of you.
There is no direct access by car from the Quayside.
There is no access to the Quayside from Dean Street.
By Train and Metro
From Central Station, turn right and Cale Cross is about 5 minutes walk, due east along Collingwood Street and Mosely Street to the 55 Degrees North roundabout. Turn right at the 55 Degrees North roundabout and proceed as above.
If you are visiting Newcastle for the first time, it is difficult to miss the 55 Degrees North roundabout. It is dominated by a white concrete block, visible from all directions and you will clearly see signs for Metro and Magic Radio's offices.
Disabled access
Disabled visitors may park in the basement car park at Cale Cross by prior arrangement. This building is fully accessible for disabled people.
