Flow Through Funds
Flow through funds allow individuals and companies to make an annual donation year on year with the purpose of awarding all that money in grants to charitable community projects within the year.
It allows the donor to support the local community from day one and particularly appeals to companies with a budgeted amount per year to award to the community. It can also compliment an endowment fund so whilst income builds in an endowment fund, the flow through fund allows immediate grant making.
Flow through funds start with a minimum donation of £10,000 per year.
The Ryder Architecture fund was set up in 2008 on a flow through basis and supports projects in the North East and in the areas where Ryder Architecture works.
The Peter and Angela Barratt Fund was also set up in 2008 and supports general charitable purposes with a particular interest in youth projects.
