Gateshead Housing Company Community Fund – guidelines
Grants of between £500 and £5,000 are available in cash or in-kind (or a combination of both) to voluntary organisations in Gateshead who provide support to Gateshead Housing Company tenants.

The fund can offer either a cash grant for a specified project or activity, or offer services worth up to £5,000 for practical work.

Who can apply?
Applications are welcomed from voluntary organisations and charities that are based in, or work in, the borough of Gateshead who have not had a grant from this fund in the last twelve months.

What can be funded?
In general, the Community Foundation funds activity that helps people overcome
disadvantage, creates stronger communities, and makes our area a good place to live.
Specific priorities for this fund are as follows…

Making Gateshead a better place to live

In all cases at least one-third of people supported by the projects / organisations that we fund must be tenants of The Gateshead Housing Company.  This should be clearly stated in the application.
