Culture Bridge North East Fund

Culture Bridge North East Fund Call for Applications

Culture Bridge North East Fund was established at the Community Foundation in February 2017 with a founding gift from Culture Bridge North East of £100,000. The fund then attracted match funding from our Mr Murray’s Million Pound Match creating a £150,000 endowment fund. The income raised each year enables grant making which supports access to quality arts and cultural activity for young people across the North East.

The Culture Bridge North East Fund provides grants of between £250 – £1500 to support working relationships between arts practitioners/cultural organisations on one side and schools/youth settings on the other. Priority will be given to projects working with young people from whom access and inclusion with quality arts activities and provision is an issue.

Applicants can be education or community settings working with children and young people aged 0 – 25 years, e.g. schools, youth clubs, Pupil Referral Units etc.

Applications can be from across the North East region.
