Projects, programmes and partnerships

The Community Foundation adds value to our area by developing and running a wide variety of philanthropic projects, programmes and partnerships that help us to achieve our vision of effective giving, thriving communities and enriched lives.

Culture Partnerships

Culture Partnerships helps businesses to benefit from commercial and creative relationships with the arts, and the cultural sector to benefit from business support. For more information please contact Ellie Turner, Senior Fund Development Manager (Culture)  on 0191 222 0945.

Community Ventures

The Community Ventures programme brings together some of our leading donors to offer pro bono business support to voluntary and community organisations to help them achieve a step change in the way they operate, or overcome a particular problem. Click here for more.

LEAF is a collaboration between the Community Foundation, Shears Foundation, Greggs Foundation and an anonymous donor which supports projects that have a positive impact on the environment, and which educate and raise awareness about what individuals can do to take local action on environmental issues.
