The Community Foundation manages many different Funds. We have tried to make applying for a grant as simple as possible. In most cases you apply on a single application form. We will forward your application to the Funds most likely to support you.

A small number of Funds have a separate application form.

Nancy Barbour Award
Supporting groups working with women with disabilities

Grants made to purchase equipment for sick and disabled children

Heyman Scholarship Fund
Makes travel scholarships to nurses and healthcare professionals in South Tyneside

Sammy Johnson Memorial Fund
Grants to support the performing arts in Tyneside

Tyne & Wear High Sheriff Award Scheme
Grants awarded once a year to young people’s groups, which help reduce crime

Young Musicians Fund
Grants for individuals and groups under 25 years to fund musical activities

Local Network Fund for Children and Young People (LNF)
