Feedback

If you have had a grant from the Community Foundation and had not returned your feedback form, then please do so now. We need to know how your previous grant was spent before we can look at a further application.

Things you need to know

• Most of our grants are under £5,000
• We do not have deadlines - you can apply at any time
• We make some grants over £10,000.  If you want to apply for a grant of this size please talk to us before you apply

• In most cases you apply on a single application form

• You can get advice and support to help with filling in the application form. Detals are at the end of the application form

• The Community Foundation manages many different funds. We will forward your application to the funds most likely to support you.
• You will hear from us within three months of your application
• We want to fund well run organisations. We will ask you about your policies and procedures, including environmental issues.

The Community Foundation recognises that to thrive in the long term, voluntary and community organisations must cover the full costs of their activities. We therefore encourage all organisations applying for a grant to submit properly costed bids which include the cost of their overheads.

We encourage voluntary and community sector groups to think about the impact they have on the environment.  Have a look at our 'Top Tips'which has some ideas and information on how your group can help the environment and perhaps save money as well
