Adam is responsible for private philanthropy and business partnerships that support culture and creative talent in North East England. He runs the Sponsors Club project, overseeing its match funding scheme, and leads on other Foundation investment in the arts and arts organisations with support from Arts Council England, North East. He joined the Community Foundation as Director of The Sponsors Club in March 2004.
Adam’s role combines his love of the arts and his corporate experience. His professional background is in marketing, starting in a local theatre in Solihull before he developed his skills further whilst working at Ticketmaster in London. He then moved to Manchester to set up Ticketmaster’s regional marketing function, and went on run Ticketmaster’s operation in Scotland before taking his current role.
Adam is a Princes Trust Mentor and he is a board member of New Writing North.
