Calls for Applications

Hexham Youth Initiative has been supported by the CNL Young People’s Fund

The Specials Laboratory Fund is looking for applications from community groups in Prudhoe and the surrounding areas of Tynedale that provide activities that focus on health, well-being and social care.

Groups can apply for up to £2,000 for support including:

• Equipment for activities, for example, sports equipment, tools and play equipment.
• Learning resources, for example: books, IT software and sessional tutor costs.
• Learning experiences such as workshops, educational trips and outings.
• Children’s club resources, such as nursery and baby equipment.

The CNL Young People’s  Fund is looking for applications from charities and voluntary and community groups that are running projects to help disadvantaged young people  in Northumberland  to overcome the barriers to a successful transition to adulthood.

Most awards will be in the range £1,000 – £2,000 and one or two awards of up to £10,000 will be made each year. For more information and to apply online click here. The deadline for applications is 5 October 2012.
