Kellet Fund Relaunched
The Kellett Fund, established in 1996 following a £5m legacy from Mr Douglas Kellett, supports projects that improve the welfare of active older people. Funding is now available to community and voluntary sector agencies active in in Tyne&Wear, Northumberland and Chester-Le-Street.
The Kellett Fund will prioritise projects that provide inclusive leisure and learning activities for older people and/or support their active participation in all aspects of community affairs. We will seek to ensure that our grant making supports a balanced range of projects across these two priorities, and are particularly interested in projects that deliver against both by offering older people opportunities to both benefit from and contribute to service provision. Grants of up to £30,000 per annum over three years will be available.
