Fund-holders at the Community Foundation, Ron and Louise Bowey, will open their garden to the public as part of the National Gardens Scheme on Sunday 6 August 2017.

In 2016 the ‘National Garden Gardens Open for Charity’ scheme donated £2.7m to a range of charities including Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie and Hospice UK.

Around 3,700 gardens open each year for the National Garden Scheme around the UK. The scheme allows garden owners to open their beautiful gardens to the public, and share their passion for the outdoors, whilst raising money for charity through entry fees, teas and slices of cake.
